OPI Swiss Collection Fall/Winter 2010

This is the first half of the Swiss Collection and is made up of metallics, and shimmery colours,. I’m really excited about these colours! I have to admit, I’ve had the Swiss collection for a while now, since the beginning of August and I’ve been holding off because I’m just really not looking forward to the year to start, with school and all, it’s going to be so stressful, back to homework, studying, tests and projects, and I am definitely not looking forward to not being able to sleep in. :(
But that’s immature and stupid thinking on my part, and these colours are WAY too nice not to swatch, hehe :)

So these are what I thought of the first half of the collection and I have to be honest, the other half is filled with crèmes that are mostly in the red family. Although I do love a good red I wish they would’ve added more other colours but I’ll go more in to detail on that post, haha!

Yodel me on my Cell
It’s a different kind of turquoise that is darker then most of the turquoises you see regularly, it has a bit of dark pearly blue. It’s a super flattering and really cool, unique colour! I must admit, I loved this one on me, hehe! This was two coats, to even out the bald spots, and the second coat made it dramatically darker. So if you want to keep making it darker you can apply a third one but this colour looks just great with one or two coats!

Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous
Is a silver and gray that’s loaded with shimmer and I LOVE IT. It’s a very edgy look to wear, and would look stunning if you were going to a party or something! The name kind of bugs me, it’s a little long and hard to spell, haha! This took 3 coats to make it as dark as this and the first first coat was kind of sheer. It was messy to take off though, it made my hand covered in glitter! Hate when that happens!

The Color to Watch
Is a watery pearyl lavender colour with little hints of blue and red in it, and when it dries it looks sort of gray. I must say when I first saw this on my nails I thought it was really, really ugly. But after a while it grew on me! It is very flattering on my skin tone and it’s a very different colour. This colour was super sheer, and since I don’t roll that way- this is it on my nails with 4 coats.

Cuckoo for this Color
This colour is an emerald green that’s really, gorgeuse! This was 2 coats, and it’s just such a nice, nice, colour! If your looking for a dark colour but want to stay away from purples and reds, this is an amazing alternative! I love this!

Gliterland
This colour is a pearly champagne gold, literally. I was really surpised by how nice this was! If you are some one who is into golds this is going to be your dream colour! There is not a lot of yellow behind this gold, it’s really a champagne shimmer metallic gold that is super flattering on any skin tone!

Diva of Geneva
This is the only colour that I’ve reviewed so far that I didn’t think was that unique! Reason being is everything is so different and cool and ugh I just love them all soo much!! In the bottle it looks like a metallic red, but when I started painted my nails its actually like a raspberry colour to it! I do have a soft spot for reds, and this colour is different from the other reds although it is strictly red.

So which colours from the Swiss collection are screaming “BUY ME!” to you?

Sally Hansen Kwik Off

Today, unlike anything I’ve really done on this blog, I’m going to review something besides polish.

Nail polish remover!

Everyone has there own opinions about nail polish removers, acetone, acetone free, protein enriched, nail polish with vitamin E, with chamomile, pro-vitamins, soy based, the list goes on and on.
But this nail polish remover is unlike any nail polish remover us nail polish lovers usually use. It’s a whole new idea about removing nail polish.

Lets start with the way us people normally remove nail polish, we take a quilted cotton pad or cotton ball (depending on your preference, I usually prefer quilted cotton pads) and pull out our nail polish remover, pour some on our cotton pad, and wipe off the current adorable colour we’re sporting on our nails.
Well, Sally Hansen has found a way to sort of, combine the combination of cotton pads and nail polish remover all in one! In one little container!

This container is about three quarters full with a damp, sponge that has an X right in the middle of it. This sponge is covered in nail polish remover, and has remover resting at the bottom of the container (which I learned the hard way; after tipping it to the side and seeing what the container said, spilling remover all over my bed!)

This nail polish is apricot extract nail polish remover with vitamin E and natural moisturizers so it helps prevent nail drying (unlike acetone removers). You simply dip your finger in, and pull it out and that it’s gone!

Well, that’s what it’s supposed to do, and to be honest it didn’t really do the trick for me. It took 17 different times dumping my nail in the little X and out. I actually found it easier to swish my finger around and rub it against the sponge. I think this would actually work differently depending on the type of polish you were wearing. I was wearing a duchochrome blue packed with green and gold colour by OPI from their summer flutter collection, called Catch me in your Net.
None the less, I must say, this product is kind of cool!  It’s a really cool idea of modernizing the way we are all used to taking off polish.

The Sally Hansen Kwik Off can be purchased at Wal Mart for only $3.04.

So here I have some questions for you readers to answer,
How do you take off your nail polish remover?
Do you see yourself trying this nail polish remover in the future?

Let me know!

O.P.I Ate Berries in the Canaries

This colour was so generously given to me for my birthday by my best friend, she gave me like a little basket of everything I LOVE! I was SO happy and this was definitely one of my favourite birthday gifts out of all time :) This colour is from the South Beach collection for Summer 2009... and this colour is TOTALLYY stunning!

It took only one coat until my entire nail was fully covered, it's very pigmented. It dried super, super fast, and I accidentally bumped into my camera cord and there was no annoying smudges! It is a dark fuschia pink with a little bit of subtle purple mixed into it. This colour is really flattering on my skin tone! I can see it being flattering on a lot of peoples skin tones!

60 Seconds Rimmel London; 2 new colours!

This nail polish brand that’s a little older, available in drug stores claims that after 60 seconds it’s completely dry! I want to be able to review nail polish that’s in all different price points and after 60 seconds I touched the polish to see if it had dried as the commercial promises, and it smudged! Dammit. I like the idea of nail polish being able to dry fast, and this did. But not after 60 seconds. How disappointing!

_____________________________________________________

819 Green with Envy
This colour is a metallic teal colour that reminds me of snakes almost! This shows 2 coats as the first one was really sheer, but for some reason this colour really doesn’t do much for me! Its flattering for my skin tone but nothing special although it is a really unique colour!

270 Shocker
This is a metallic hot fuschia pink. After only one coat this covered my nails perfectly! This photo doesn’t do it justice it’s such a beautiful color! This dried really fast compared What do you think about this for a really unique pink?

OPI Absolutely Alice & Mad as a Hatter

OPI Alice in Wonderland came out much earlier this year, and I was in LOVE with the collection… okay only half the collection! The glitter-packed colours. At the time, I hadn’t bought these colours but now my friend was nice enough to lend them to review and swatch. These colours are glitter-packed and fun! They are the nicest colours EVER! I am in love with these two colours! Tell me if they are half as amazing as I THINK THEY ARE!

___________________________________________________________

Absolutely Alice is a glitter packed nail polish that is majority blue glitter with hints of baby blues, navy blues, silver and black glitter.  If you like blue nail polish, and glitter nail polish this color is like a dream!! This picture shows 2 coats. It applied REALLY easily. It was like applying any regular color! The only thing I’m worried about now, is taking it off… taking off glitter nail polish is such a pain!

Mad as a Hatter is a also a glitter-based nail polish that is primarily silver, but filled with red, blue, green, purple, orange, pretty much every single colour in the rainbow-packed nail polish! It’s stunning! I LOVE THIS COLOUR! It was a lot thicker then Absolutely Alice and for this my first coat was evenly and thinly painted and second coat was painted on really thick but dried fast, and isn’t as bumpy as normal glitter nail polish! Love this colour! J

American Apparel Nail Laquer: Colours for Fall!

After a recent trip to American Apparel, I saw these 3 colors and had to purchase them. They have a promotion, 3 bottles for $18, or 1 bottle for $7.50. If u think about it, your saving 20%! Their colors are cool, unique and really different. Good job American Apparel :)

Malibu Green
My first colour was, Malibu Green which is almost a light forest green but more teal. I can't even describe it! I have NOTHING to compare this too! it took only 1 coat and my entire nail was painted perfectly. No nude spots, no streaky mess, and no frustrating sheer formula! I'm really impressed with this color. If your looking for somthing different; this is a teal green you WON'T regret purchasing.
P.S while I was taking this off I left almost a green stain on my nails :S
I did use a basecoat- OPI Top to Bottom

Factory Grey

Just like Malibu Green, only 1 COAT! This color is STUNNING. I was dying to buy "Waking up in Vegas" Debra Lippman nail polish for $18 after seeing Lady Gaga on the cover of Vanity Fair for the September issue, this is such a cheap alternative and they are almost IDENTICAL! This color wasn't streaky, and is a dark gray- but not too dark. Its STUNNING!

Rose Bowl
This color would be best described as a creamy red-pink colour. Its such an interesting color. Those who want somthing more unique then a red or pink should lean towards this! Its stunning. This was 2 coats!

Rose Bowl

This color would be best described as a creamy red-pink colour. Its such an interesting color. Those who want somthing more unique then a red or pink should lean towards this! Its stunning. This was 2 coats!

So which colours are screaming, FALL to you? And which ones do you think you'll pick up?
Will the three bottles of nail polish for $18.50 encourage you to buy three bottles? Or will you just stick with one bottle for $7.50?

Nail Polish, from Korea! Pt 1; Olive Deco

On my good, good friends (since grade 5 if you can believe it! Who is such a beautiful person and one of those people who are just as the beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside) travelled to South Korea, she was nice enough to bring back to me 8 stunning, beautiful, GORGEOUS nail polishes! My first four, are from a brand called Olive Deco, or Deco Olive, not really sure :P But, after doing my extensive research, (a.k.a typing it in to google, hehe) the brand is called Olive Deco!

The only thing that sucks, is I can’t read what the polish is called! It’s in Korean, haha! But for some reason the brand is written in English, so I will do my best to describe them.

For starters, it's a clear bottle, written with small white words all in lower case, deco, then below it, it is written with a little larger white words saying Olive. The cap is a cylinder white plastic cap, and at the top it looks almost like a big circle with a small circle in the centre! The bottle looks like those boxes people in my class used to make with origami. It's a puffed out rectangle, hehe :)

_________________________________________________________

This color is a navy pearly blue. It’s not really navy, as it is dark blue. It took only ONE FRICKEN COAT and my whole nail was stunning! It really complimented my skin tone, and I must say I’m in love with this color! I’m really not looking forward to taking it off!

This color is a pearly purple color with subtle shimmers of red, pink, and blue. This color was stunning, and not streaky to the least bit. Although the first color was sheer, after a second coat it was covering my nail perfectly To be completely honest, this wouldn’t be a color I would have purchased or even looked at! But it turned out to be a really cool color! And I really love it! It’s super nice on my skin tone!

The next color, was really, really, really super dark. And I want to say its black… but its not black! It’s like a dark, dark, SUPER DARK purple that looks black, but it is NOT black! Suprisingly, this was a two-coater! Unlike every other polish I’ve tried so far, this did two coats to cover up the patchy coats! But it is stunning, I really like it! It’s very, very dark. And very, very nice

The next color I’m going to show you is a micro-glittered silver polish, which is packed into a clear coat! This color would look super cute as a top coat over a lavender nail polish (for example, Essie; Lilacism) or a dark gray (for example, Mouse by American Apparel) or just by itself! It’s different and cute!

I really wish I knew the names of these colours! I'll ask my friend when she comes over next time :)

Which ones your favourite? Have any of you heard of this brand before?

Urban Outfitters Nail Varnish

I’ve always been skeptical of buying no-name branded nail polish. But after waiting inline at Urban Outfitters for fifteen minutes (don’t you hate it when they don’t open up a new cash-register and the lines just getting bigger, and bigger?) I noticed a wooden basket filled with nail polish with a sign that says, “SALE! 99 CENTS NAIL POLISH!” And if you couldn’t tell by now, I’m addicted to nail polish. Just like a sale on shoes, I can’t resist a sale on nail polish! At first, I reached into the basket and took out handfuls of polish, I had at least 23 bottles (okay maybe I’m being a little overly dramatic- but you get what I mean!) in my hands. But after realizing my tight budget, and my over priced clothing, I really couldn’t afford all those bottles, and made a very, very hard decision… only buying 2. To be honest buying more then 2, wouldn’t have been a good decision. Especially since I’ve never even heard of this brand, or even knew that Urban Outfitters’ sold polish. The polish is regularly priced 5 dollars, which is still cheap for nail polish! So I bought two and these are what I thought of them:

________________________________________________________________________________

Purple 9
In the bottle: The bottle is a rectangle. It’s really different compared to other nail polish bottles. I just really hope it’s not hard to put on my nails since it is a rectangle, because that would suck. I don’t like the names, part of nail polish is the creativity behind it, and the name Purple 9 is not very original. All the other colors are the color and a number... Which I’m guessing is the color and shade. And let me tell you people, this color is NOT purple in any way. It’s a hot pink.
On my nails: HOLY FRICKEN COW. This color is SHEER. It took about 5 coats to paint my nails this pink… can you believe it? That’s ridiculous! Hopefully my other color will not be this sheer, because I hate sheer nail polish. You can still see the white tip of my nail right now. Okay, I’m being a little bit harsh, if you don’t mind the white tip being visible this color is very unique pink. It’s a corally-pink and I really like it. It’s really flattering for my skin tone. What do u think?

Purple 5
In the bottle: Now Purple 5 is actually a purple! It looks like a purple marker. The color is so nice and rich and I can’t wait to try it on!
On my nails: this was a lot less sheer then Purple 9 and was such a nice color! It looks like a grape purple. It’s stunning. Not sheer at all, and it dried in seconds. I love this color and for only 99 cents! Oh boy, thank you Urban Outfitters!

________________________________________________________________________________

Looking down at the bottles, rectangular caps!
Brush, thin, reminds me of Essie

Overall,
The rectangle cap for this bottle is super hard to work with for the first time. Eventually, I got the hang of it, but it took a little bit. It’s still kind of hard to work with, I don’t really like it. And I’m not really used to it. People who find it hard to paint their nails as is, should stick to Essie, O.P.I, other nail polishes that are easier to apply, and would find it difficult to use on their left hand. The brush is fine, I would compare it to Essie. Also, this nail polish REEKS. Even on my nails I can still smell it… yuck. I hope this smell goes away. I didn’t really like the first color I reviewed (Purple 9) but I did like the second (Purple 5). I really think this formula though is really good! Minus the smell, I really liked this. And come on, 99 cents?

Knockout Cosmetics!

Knockout nail polish. I’ve never heard of it before, only saw it at the cash while inline at a Canadian clothing store, called Aritizia (I believe this is also available at Henri Bendel and Kitson LA) This clothing store is a Canadian fashionable store and I believe, overpriced. When I saw this nail polish, I fell in love. I’m a sucker for no shine, matte nail polish! These colors are really interesting, but after seeing the price tag, I couldn’t believe it! 21 dollars for a bottle of nail polish! I couldn’t afford it, and it really upset me. If you see the bottle, my boyfriend made a comment about how the bottle was what you were paying for because these bottles are BEAUTIFUL. They are much taller then regular bottles and they have a frosted look to them. When my birthday rolled around, my good friend was kind enough to buy me two of these bottles in colors that I am in love with! So I’m so happy to be able to swatch these and wear them J before I owned these, I borrowed my friends in a cool blue matte color I believe is called Pool. It did turn my nails yellow. I’m not sure if you want to blame it on my basecoat (which has never given me problems before, but matte colors are more dense then regular) or the actual polish. Moreover I would recommend painting on two basecoats before painting your nails any matte color! Also this nail poish is cruelty free, and DBP, toluene and formaldehyde free. Now, here’s what I think:

Concrete
In the bottle: This looks like a frosty gray. I’m really excited to try this on because I love grays and have never seen a gray matte before!
On my nails: This formula was AMAZING. It dries super gray and fast and it’s just such a cool, color. It’s one of my favorite grays I’ve ever tried! This is 2 coats but I really could’ve gotten away with 1, I just am a perfectionist when it comes to nails. The only thing that would stop me from buying this color is the price… 22 dollars people! This color is AMAZING. It would even look amazing with a top coat. But it looks way cool as a matte color! I love this color wow!

Ox
In the bottle: It looks like a very dark purple. The cap on this is different then the first bottle I used, it’s black. I’m guessing it’s because it’s a darker color they do this. Both bottles are gorgeuse!
On my nails: This shows 2 coats. You really needed 2 coats to get the entire nail with no nude spots. This color is fabulous. It’s a dark, purple, plum color and it is STUNNING. It’s one of the nicest purples I’ve ever used and I love it. It dries so perfectly matte, and I never knew dark colors in matte are so beautiful since most of the matte colors I’ve had are suede.

_________________________________________________________

Overall I was super impressed with these colors, and after doing my research I found out that Knockout was a cosmetics company created by a makeup artist named Mike Potter who is best known for creating the hair and makeup for the groundbreaking stage and film versions of Hedwig & the Angry Inch. Although these bottles cost 22 dollars, they cost only 18 dollars if you buy them from Urban Outfitters online! They have 12 colors and all our very different and cool. It was a little tricky getting used to the bottles because the cap is super tall, but the brush itself is a dream! Before I could put it on my nail, I had to wipe about half of it before I put it on my nails. It paints on thick, but dries quickly! It’s super wide and like a thicker version of O.P.I’s prowide brush! If you are looking for an edgy and different look, this is it! If your willing to spend the money that is!

This is what the bottle looks like, (this image was taken from koknockout.com)

I'll try and take some of my own photos of the bottle and handle and brush so u have a better idea of it :)
Enjoy.

American Apparel Nail Laquer!

I’ve always loved mint green nail polish, but after looking around for a WHILE I couldn’t find a mint green that was the mint green I was looking for. All of the mint greens were too green, or too washed out. I was looking for a really strong mint green. Nail polish always catches my eye, and at my friend’s birthday party I saw this mint green this girl I had never met before wearing, and I walked up to her and introduced myself and began questioning where did she find this perfect mint green. In fact, I even took a photo of her hands (okay, you probably think I’m crazy, but she was just as fanatic about nail polish as me so she understood, haha) and she began telling me about American Apparel nail polish. You’d think that a big brand like American Apparel would come out with nail polish, the colors would be “meh” but after doing my research I saw they came out with a bunch of really different, cool, fun, colors that I needed to get my hands on. They still have the reds, the blacks, but they did add cool teals, washed out yellows, lavenders, and I’m super excited to try these on. I went to the American Apparel downtown and if you can believe it, they were sold out of the mint green I was looking for, and most of their other colors (this was back in May, hopefully they’ve restocked) so I actually ordered them online. I got only one of my colors shipped in, and they wrote me saying they were sold out of the mint green (called Office) and the yellow I wanted (Butter) and they’d send it to me as soon as it came in! I guess they were selling fast! Two weeks later I had gotten them in the mail and voila! Here are my reviews!

_______________________________________________________________________________

Office
In the bottle: It looks like ea typical mint green I would expect.
On my nails: This shows 3 coats. This is a really, really mint green. I love the color and am so excited to try the other color on! If you like mint greens, this is a dream come true! It’s not too blue or too green, its great!

Butter
In the bottle: This color literally looks like a stick of butter you pulled out of the fridge. It’s really washed out yellow, and I’m excited to try this. I just hope it’s not streaky just like all my other yellows!
On my nails: Wow! This is probably the least streaky yellow I’ve ever applied onto my nails! It was a little thick though, but it dried quickly. It’s a really nice color. Unfortunately, it does nothing for my skin tone, and just washes me out, but I can definitely see this looking good on darker skin tones. It’s such an exotic cream, yellow!

______________________________________________________________________________

Being skeptical about the formula, and brush because it was a clothing company coming out with nailpolish! But boy, was I wrong for everything I thought. The brush was fabulous and easy to apply. The formula was not streaky and dried fabulously. I love the look of the bottles, the rectangle bottle and cylinder top. And this nail polishes are also the big 3 free! It costs only $7.50 so a little cheaper then other polishes but right up their with O.P.I and Zoya!

OPI Hong Kong, Spring/Summer 2010

I'm super excited about the OPI Hong Kong Spring/Summer collection. These colours OPI brings us, are unique, fun, and different . The formula is amazing, (no suprise there), and thanks to OPI's prowide brush, it's just so easy to apply on to your nails! Here's what I thought about these 12 colours:

_______________________________________________________________________________

Lucky Lucky Lavender
In the bottle: This looks really pink, with only a little bit of lavender, and I was excited to put this on my nails, but this wasn’t as exotic as the other colors in the collection, and it looked really similar to Panda-monium Pink.
On my nails:  On my nails, the photo shows only 2 coats, the formula was great and not streaky at all. If I wasn’t such a perfectionist with my nails I probabley could’ve gotten away with one coat. Keep in mind this is a pink with only a little bit of lavender… I figured it would be a little bit more purple. This color was really nice and I would wear it for sure, but I’m not really too excited about this color.

Panda-Monium Pink
In the bottle: In the bottle, it's like a light, almost purply-gray-pink. I'm excited to see this one on my nails, its an unusual coloured pink!
On my nails:  I did 2 coats of this color, and then a third coat so I could level it evenly. It was REALLY nice at first, outside in the sun. I would describe this as a pink with a little bit of gray. It’s not at all in your face-neon-pink, it’s the type of pink you can put on your nails and it looks pink but its not too much. I liked this color, but it was nothing special.

Hot & Spicy
In the bottle: Looking at it in the bottle, it really looks like a carrot orange… If I was feeling like doing something really different on my nails, I’d choose this one for sure J
On my nails: On my nails I painted 3 coats. It’s not a carrot orange, I was completely wrong, and this picture doesn’t do it justice, that’s for sure! It’s a coral-orange color and its super flattering for my skin tone. Very different and unique… I never thought I would but I’m really loving the orange colors in this collection.

Bling Dynasty
In the bottle: It looks like a yellow/gold/shimmery/glittery color. I feel like a kid in S.K describing this nail color, haha! If your into metallics, like gold, silver, and bronze, this colour is for you.
On my nails: Although I love exotic nail colors, I’ve never really been into metallic colors but this gold is really something else. It’s not in your face, bright. It’s subtle, dusty, yellow and gold that really is nice. I would wear this, and this is surprisingly (well, to me at least) one of my favorite colors in the collection!  P.S I'm really sorry for this shitty picture quality, it's hard to capture metallic colours!

Jade is the new Black
In the bottle: SO EXCITED TO PAINT MY NAILS THIS COLOR. I have NOTHING that even looks like this. I’m super excited to try this, and have already decided this is my favorite color of the collection, hehe J
On my nails: 2 coats and then PERFECTION… ok- I am not being overly dramatic in any way! This color really is BEAUTIFUL! It’s by no means a forest green, its sort of… well… like, a dusty-dark-green. It’s really different, and this would look stunning on my toes, if you only buy one color from this collection- this one. So cute.

Red-My Fortune Cookie
In the bottle: Looks like a cherry red, with a little bit of orange. Looks like a great summer/spring red
On my nails: HOLY COW. 1 COAT, 1 COAT, 1 COAT! I know some people love red, or hate red, but I do really love a good red. If you don’t know by now, theres not a lot of colors I don’t like! This red was a cherry red, with a hint of orange, but not toooooo much orange, just a hint! Its super cute, and so bright and fun! It looked good on my nails, and I can see myself wearing this a lot. This picture is a great picture because this is EXACTLY what it looks like on your nails! :)

Pearls of Wisdom
In the bottle: Wow, this is really beautiful in the bottle. I feel like it’s going to be sheer though…it’s a white pearly color with hints of shimmer that’s pink and blue. It looks really nice!
On my nails: This is about 4 coats if you can believe it, 4 coats! This color came on really sheer-which just doesn’t work for me. I can’t deal with sheer colors. This was really watery, and I didn’t really find this flattering on my nails… it reminds me of something my grandmother would wear. Hmm, that was kind of harsh. I feel like I can make this color look good if I want too. I’d use it as a topcoat for a pale pink. Try it!

Suzi says Feng Shui
In the bottle: I think I’m going to like this color. It’s a blue. It’s not a light blue… but it’s not navy. It’s sort of a dark blue-  I can’t even explain! Hopefully it looks good on my nails J
On my nails: I’d describe this as a denim, deep, dusty, blue. Haha, that almost sounds like a tongue twister! This color is fabulous. I just love this color. It’s a really nice, different, exotic blue.

Meet me on the Star Ferry
In the bottle: It looks like a mix between brown and purple, with a bunch of different glitters that blend with the color. I’m really excited to try this color on my nails because it’s a really cool looking color that’s very different.
On my nails: On my nails it was definety more purple then brown, the glitter is really mixed into it, and ITS STUNNING. AHHH! I would wear this A LOT. But then again, I really like exotic colors. Not streaky at all, and only 2 coats until my nail was perfectly covered, although as I was taking pictures I saw patches that weren’t painted evenly… weird. I could only use one word to describe this color. Unique.

Chop-Sticking to my Story
In the bottle: Although my friend didn’t like this color in the bottle describing it as, “brown and yucky”. I think it’s a really cool color! It’s not orange, but it’s not brown! It’s like half-way they meet creating a really cool orangey-browny-color!
On my nails: On my nails it took only 2 coats for this burnt orange, brown to be even. I think it’s one of the more exotic colors of the collection and I can’t really compare it to any other colors I have by OPI or any other brand. It also is a really versatile color, I feel like I could wear it spring, fall and winter too. It’s really cute, and I would wear it… but I don’t think a lot of other people would wear it…What do you think?

Dim Sum Plum
In the bottle: Hot pink, dark pink, fuschia, those are the
words I would use this to describe this color…Remember that big motorola Razr that was popular back in 2006? The hot pink phone, is the exact same color of this!
On my nails: WOW. After one coat, my nails were actually perfectly even. As a perfectionist, I did two, but I really could’ve gotten away with just one. It’s such a nice, fun, color. It really looked good on my skin tone, and I feel like it would be good too if you were tanned. I think this is a really fun color and can see myself wearing it a lot.

A Good Man-Darin is Hard to Find
In the bottle: This looks like a coral, orange.
On my nails: Two coats and this colour was perfectly even across my nail! It's really flattering to my skin tone and can see this working for a lot of different skin tones. The colour is fresh and just really cute!

Overall, I'm really liking the new orange trend from OPI for Spring and Summer! Although it is hard to find a really nice orange colour without your nails resembling carrots, OPI does a really great job with 3 really good options! After trying all 12 on my nails, I can say with full confidence, these colours are cute, fun and really great. My favorite colors (in no particular order) are Jade is the new black, Suzi says Fung Shui, Hot & Spicy, Dim Sum Plum, and A Good Man-darin is hard to Find. Which ones are your favourite?
